Pennsylvania gambling revenue up year-over-year in January
Revenue rose 10.7% from $464.4 million in January 2023 but was down 10.7% from $534.2 million generated in Pennsylvania in December. The revenue includes athletics slot and table games, online gambling sports betting, video lottery terminals (VLTs) and fantasy sports.
Physical slots remain a major source of Pennsylvania's gambling revenue at $179.5 million, down 11.2% year-over-year. Land-based table gaming revenue also fell 13.4% to $72.7 million. ์ฌ๋กฏ์ฌ์ดํธ ์์
The online gambling market in Pennsylvania is leading the growth. In contrast, the online gambling sector in Pennsylvania reported more growth. During January, gaming revenue reached $149.6 million, up 12.4 percent from last year.
Online slot sales rose 22.0% to $111 million. However, online table game sales fell 7.8% to 36.9 million euros, while Internet poker sales were about the same at $2.7 million.
Pennsylvania National's Hollywood Casino remains the market leader with $50.5 million in total gaming revenue. Valley Forge Casino Resort came in second with $41.6 million, followed by Rivers Casino Philadelphia the following month with $29.5 million.
